Holly Stephey Talks to Robert Agnello & Band of Innocence !

The band of innocence is a story about seven children with an innocence so pure that they have been given powers by the creators of this world to protect this planet earth and all that live here. From Robert~ For 20 years I was a touring musician, playing in various bands and traveling around the world. Playing in a band with other musicians is just like being on a team. Being part of something where each band member helps and supports the other, with each instrument playing individually to be part of one piece of music. This is how I approached the Band of Innocence. Each child helps and supports the other to form this Band. The sum is always greater than its parts, as we all know, and these strong children band together to form an unbeatable team. I have approached everything in my life with honesty and innocence. I never judge a book by its cover and have learned that what has happened in the past is done and gone. I am a 12 year old child in a 55 year old body. I believe everyone deserves to be happy. I believe that every dream can come true. I believe in Santa Claus and the spirit of giving. I believe everyone has a story that they follow and that even the meanest person can be changed by understanding their story and being compassionate to that story. I hope you join me on a quest to become compassionate, honest, truthful, giving, positive and loving. I hope you join me and become a member in The Band of Innocence.

Holly Stephey And Cutting Edge Music...

With the success of “D.C. Shuffle” the three members decided to form a band and release a follow up album containing a mixture of fun political rock songs and rock ballads. The album eventually was called “Humongously Yours” & it exploded at college & commercial radio stations in the U.S., international markets & internet radio stations around the world. While the album, “Humongously Yours” received college radio play for over a year, the first single to pop onto the commercial radio charts in the U.S. was the ballad, “Without You”, which flew up the charts to Number 20 in the U.S. “It’s Time”, “Judas of D.C.”, and “Abuse of Power” has some success on the rock charts, but big hit from the album was “Love Police”, which hit Number 19 in February and never left the top 20 for a year. Originally, Thunder Quest Records released the original version of “Love Police” to radio, but kept following up with various dance versions that kept it charting and the fans all over the U.S. loved it. As ‘Love Police” kept charting, something even crazier happened with the single “WITHOUT YOU”. It had been 1 and ½ years since “Without You” left the charts, & a syndicated college radio program began to play the single & eventually over 100 college radio stations were playing it. To the surprise of everyone at Thunder Quest Records & of course, Cutting Edge, “Without You” charted a second time at commercial radio eventually hitting number 16, even higher than before. No one could remember an “indie” band having this happen at commercial radio stations.

Holly Stephey And David Vernon

David Vernon is a "natural talent" and his interpretations and delivery of song come from the center of his soul. Trusting more in his own instincts he has purposely stayed away from academic and formal training. This is frequently surprising to those who have the experience of seeing and hearing his keen and polished sense of performance. David has an extensive recording catalog and has been featured on Radio and Television. But to truly capture his full essence one must experience him live. David pays close attention to the integrity and meaning of a song and weaves a spell through each piece he approaches. David has appeared at clubs in NYC over the last 10 years. His performances have been lauded at Iguana NYC, Don't Tell Mama's, The Vesta Lounge and The Laurie Beechman Theater. David's performances have been described as magical experiences. From the time David hits his first note the audience knows this is something special. His attention to detail in both material and staging is impeccable. There is only one word to describe David Vernon "Incomparable". Once you've seen David in person you will agree. LOVE is my latest recording project. I am now in the Autumn of my life and before I leave the planet I want to create my own masterpiece. I chose the subject of love because it’s the only thing that has ever really made me feel alive.  LOVE is an album of love songs that are very dear to my heart.  I pour a lot of emotion into my singing and when I’m singing about love my inner being leaps with sensitivity.   I think now is the right time to be focused on this particular subject, which somehow, someway affects all of our lives.

Holly Stephey And Andee Nathanson astrology and so much more

Andee Nathanson has been working with people from the film and music business since putting her photography career on the back burner in the mid-70’s.  ”When I was in my late twenties and not quite sure of who I was – where to go – or how to go about living an authentic life – I was given great guidance and help through astrology. I was influenced by some of the greatest teachers who have been with us and by seeing the aspects occur with uncanny accuracy. As I began to practice on family and friends – I realized how useful this work was.  I was “put through hundreds of readings” before beginning my practice. For the last 30 years, I’ve been working with clients worldwide.  I was able to protect them in the 2008 stock market fiasco and economic downturn. The ones who made the necessary adjustments did quite well.  That’s true of all readings. When you do the work, you get the results. Astrology holds a light up to those things that we often suspect or intuit.  It clearly points out the pros and cons of so many situations.  Then we are better prepared to make those important decisions. They say “Knowledge is Power” – so is Wisdom.  I believe we should have as many (symbolic arrows) in our packs as we can right now. In seeing what is happening in the world and the transformation from materialism to community – many of us have experienced major challenges that have pushed us well beyond our limit. That’s why Compasz has sprung up.  To get you the best help we can, in the most direct way possible

Holly Stephey And Melody Memory Reggae,Hip-Hop & funky Soul!

*Melodymemory says: "MELODYMEMORY is considered a meta-lyrical fusion of Reggae, Hip-Hop and Funky Soul, our music and message is much more than just the obvious. Our broad appeal musically bridges gaps between younger and older generations. We love what we do".  After performing almost non-stop for the last 2 years in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area at events such as The Dallas City Arts Festival, The 2009 Deep Ellum Arts Festival, and the Grand Opening of the DART Green Line railway station in Dallas' arts district in Deep Ellum, Melody Memory has transformed itself from a standard 7-piece club act to active members of the community. This harmonious blend translates into something much more than just a band and their music. MELODY MEMORY is a movement. They beautifully transcend the music by being part of the local artists community, and by being actively involved in the development of local "at risk" youth, as well as up and coming poets and wordsmiths. MELODY MEMORY is actively involved with improving public education through creative learning. Working with non-profit organizations such as Big Thought, Art.Love.Magic, and Creative Solutions, MELODY MEMORY has put itself in a position to further the artistic growth and development of kids all over D/FW using the MELODY MEMORY curriculum. This curriculum, developed by lead vocalist and teacher Alejandro Perez, is best described as a learning process by which a child is taught the recollection of thoughts with sounds, music, and creativity.

Holly Stephey And Inner Visions Band!

If you have had any doubt that love and music walk hand in hand then you have yet to see and hear the Inner Visions Band. Their music has garnered them fans the world over and has helped to close the gap between racial, religious and economic divisions by leaning on the one thing we all possess and should exercise. That one thing is love! Hailing from St. John, US Virgin Islands, this once hidden treasure, is a family in every sense of the word (two Brothers and two Sons). Yet everyone they encounter is easily welcomed into their family as well. At a time when “Roots Reggae Music” is struggling to keep it’s identity intact, it is quite refreshing to find this band performing, recording and producing as well as they do. Melodic song writing, impassioned lead vocals and sweet three part harmonies are reminiscent of the best vocal groups of the seventies and indeed, their style bridges the gap between foundation reggae and other genres such as R&B, and rock. From Grassroots Festival in New York, Antiliansse festen in Belgium, SXSW in Texas, Sierra Nevada World Music Festival in California, Dios Latinos Festival in Holland to Muzikfest in Pennsylvania, Inner Visions has blazed the trail! Now it’s your turn to be “Inner-Gized!” Book them and find out what all the fuss is about! Holly Stephey Talks to Glen Washington

Glen Washington is one of an elite group of singers who’ve not only kept Jamaica’s vocal tradition alive during the dancehall era, but also significantly added to it by writing and performing new classics of their own. Hailing from the Jamaican parish of Clarendon, Glen was a drummer before singing his breakthrough hit, Rockers Nuh Crackers, for producer Joe Gibbs back in 1976. After leaving for Canada, he toured with artists like Shinehead before making his comeback as a solo act during the mid-nineties. Acclaim for his soulful vocals and timeless songs soon followed as hits such as Jah Glory, Down Low, Open Your Eyes, Number One Girl and Kindness For Weakness spread news of his musical rebirth far and wide. it’s this new studio recording that’s making waves right now,  Recorded at studios in Hollywood and London under the watchful gaze of Danny Ray, The Right Road now ranks among the finest works of his career material all of it written by Glen himself, and played by a topflight assortment of musicians, including Sly & Robbie, Jazwad, Mafia & Fluxy, Computer Paul and members of the Ruff Cutt and Ras Ites’ bands. Like most universally minded Jamaican artists raised on a steady diet of reggae, gospel and r&b, he draws no distinction between love in its spiritual or secular forms. Both have their origins in the grace of God and whilst his lyrics may sound utopian in places, they’re rooted in the personal, affirmative action of someone who’s had the courage to turn their life around, no matter the distractions or what others may say. minority, confirming his stature as a genuine singer for the people, as well as a popular lovers’ rock artist.

Holly Stephey & Band from Down Under Whiplash!

Hailing from Australia, Whiplash is rising from down under to unleash his lyrical prowess on the States. Fiery but calculated in his flow, Whiplash methodically attacks each and every track much like a veteran boxer punishes a novice opponent in the ring. Effortless delivery mixed with relentless lyricism is a combination that scores a knockout every time. Years of nomadic living have given Whiplash a plethora of experience and content for his music. Eking out a living and sleeping everywhere from fields to campgrounds to couches to beaches and even on the roof of a café, Whiplash knows what it’s like to come from nothing. Starting from the bottom has cultivated an appreciation for the underdog and gives his music a unique perspective. He embraces his drifter status and uses music as an outlet to release his pent up feelings about the cold world he’s encountered. After a lucky occurrence on a beach in Australia, Whiplash met a high-ranking music representative and was able to record his first song in a professional studio. This experience led to an obsession with making new music and Whiplash started recording his own songs. After two short years and over 100 tracks, he was featured in Cosmopolitan and ranked #6 out of 35 up-and-coming artists in the magazine’s “Cool List”. Holly Stephey And TJ Evans Rock n Roll!

You may not yet know her name, but TJ Evans is no stranger to music. Her musical heritage includes great uncle Peter Bocage, one of the great trumpeters of New Orleans history,  and piano giant Eddie Bo. TJ’s grandmother was an opening act for Ray Charles, and her mother spent years touring as a vocalist with George Clinton’s Brides of Funkenstein. With the release of her latest singles on May 31, Evans continues in that long family tradition. Recording “Paradiso” with her uncle Cordell “Boogie” Mosson of Parliament Funkadelic, TJ showcases her unique, soulful sound. She also recruited legendary MC Grandmaster Jay to collaborate for “Shakey Ground.” These two tracks hint at great things to come from an artist coming into her own. TJ Evans began playing music at the age of 14, influenced by not only by the soulful R&B of artists like Luther Vandross and Patti LaBelle but also the crunching rock of Pantera and Metallica. Before embarking on her own music career, the Indianapolis-based guitarist spent time as a freelance music journalist, traveling the Midwest to interview and photograph such artists as George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Amuse, Remember Paris, and Every Avenue. With a passion for rock and roll, R&B, funk, and blues, TJ has fused together her own kind of soulful rock. A tall, lanky figure with visible tattoos, the audience hardly knows what to expect when she grabs her guitar and gets on stage. Her gritty vocals, raw guitar and deep grooves quickly dispel any thoughts that her sound is anything but her own. Off stage, TJ Evans can appear to some as quietly reserved, despite her travels, her passion and her sincere belief in what matters to her most. But there’s a good reason for that silence - her music has already said it all.

Holly Stephey & Daniel B. Holeman inspirational painter !

Artistic talent combined with life-long exploration of consciousness and devotion to self-realization has given Daniel B. Holeman an ability to depict uplifting and profound sacred imagery. His inspirational paintings have a strong impact and an uncanny affect on people. Many are deeply touched emotionally – sometimes brought to tears - and describe his paintings as the most beautiful pictures they have ever seen. Daniel feels it is not so much the beauty as the place it stirs in people that they are responding to. He invites the viewer to dive into a deeper dimension of consciousness while viewing his paintings. The imagery stirs forgotten awareness of a place felt to be HOME – a warm, familiar and heartfelt state of mind – a welcome contrast to the day-to-day world we live in. His work has been used on TV and videos, book and CD covers, magazines, prints, posters, cards and the internet. Self-taught techniques include oil on canvas with airbrush touchup. The mandala works are pen and ink on paper, and then colored on computer. In recent years he has scanned his paintings into his computer and further manipulated his works and evolved new imagery. At a young age Daniel had a profound spiritual awakening and experienced the nature of pure consciousness from which the manifested world is created. Since then his life has been about deepening that awareness and sharing it with others through art, lifestyle and conversation
