Holly Stephey celebrates Earth Day with Vocal Trash.

“It’s entertainment with a conscience,” says Steve Linder, creator of Vocal Trash; a diverse blend of environmental performers who have been engaging audiences across the U.S. for over a decade.  Vocal Trash combines uniquely recycled musical instruments, such as their “one of a kind” bass and guitars, with an industrial percussion section made-up of metal trash cans, plastic barrels, water bottles and other landfill rescued items. Their hip, yet poignant, presentation teaches children to use their imagination in a meaningful and lasting way as it relates to eco-friendly living. This makes for a powerful and personal tool to reach young minds while enforcing an important narrative to reuse items that would normally end up as discarded, earth burdensome waste. With a rare display of excellence, synchronization, precision and musicianship, Vocal Trash followers, affectionately deemed as “Trash-Heads,” love the distinctive blend of first-rate singing, industrial style drumming, comedy antics and award-winning break-dancing.  While Earth Day is celebrated once a year in April (22nd), Vocal Trash has been doing their part by incorporating recycling into their shows for years, long before “green” was hip - making them one of the most positive role models in entertainment today. Part stage performers, part recycling gurus - these entertainers make green awareness fun for folks of all ages.Starring as the front and center song and dance lead is theater veteran, Kelsey Rae. She states, “We’re simply presenting a positive message in an effective way. Music and dance is universal. the group’s mantra, “THINK... before you throw it away.http://www.vocaltrash.net/

Holly Stephey and Sharita Star...

Sharita Star, Psychic of the Planets, Astrologer and Numerologist Sharita is a messenger for the energies and patterns our celestial bodies communicate to us through their wisdom. A constant student of the mighty planets above, Sharita taps into an undeniable knowledge that brings a deeper understanding of how we all can optimally live here below on earth.   I developed the uncanny ability to Lexigram just before 9/11, and the mysteries they have since revealed to me are true gifts to us all in their insights, and ultimately shed further light into our amazing usage of language.   Her new Book and world events will be our topic It's All in the Name explains the concept of Lexigrams and the uncanny magic they can unfold for self-knowledge. The author begins by introducing simple words and taking the reader on a journey that shows how much we can find the truth we are searching for is contained within the words we use every day. After offering a few rules to guide the Lexigram process (and suggesting times to break those rules), she explains the interconnections among Lexigrams, astrology, and numerology. Sharita Star goes on to show how many of the Lexigrams that can be derived from names and titles relate to the very astrological and numerical guidance that governs them, providing historical evidence to show how this dynamic works. To do so, she offers references to zodiacal Sun signs and the Chaldean understanding of numerology. Moreover, Sharita provides numerous case studies of well-know individuals, past and present. It's All in the Name is a valuable tool for exploring the profound inner meanings of names and everyday words and for deepening one's intuitive capacity.

Holly Stephey and H. Lee Barnes ,Car Tag!

From the desert to the glittering promise of Las Vegas, Nevada has long been the backdrop for heartbreak and broken dreams. Everyone is susceptible to the traps and temptations, but some families make it easy to give in. Award-winning H. Lee Barnes chronicles the Debecki sons in his latest novel Car Tag (Virginia Avenue Press) with devastating honesty. In what may be the quintessential Nevada novel, the reader re-lives the chaotic childhood of the Debecki brothers, while the story weaves in the present-day consequences. Younger Billy Debecki has killed a rural police officer; big brother Drew is a police officer on the Los Vegas police force trying to spare Billy the death penalty. Barnes sees an enormous potential for untapped literary resources in his home state. "I really think the parts that have to be explored about Nevada are the parts in between -- the trailer communities out in the middle of nowhere," he says. "Maybe these little places are the last vestiges of the Old West, where the maverick spirit that first brought people here still exists; I'd like to think that they're populated by people who embrace the idea of escaping the shackles of life in urban and suburban settings." H. Lee Barnes lives and writes in Las Vegas, where he teaches English and creative writing at the College of Southern Nevada. In his past lives, he was a soldier, a deputy sheriff, a narcotics agent, a casino dealer, and a martial arts instructor. His short stories have won the Willamette and the Arizona Authors Association fiction awards. Gunning for Ho, his first collection of short stories, was a finalist for the Stephen Turner First Fiction Award offered by the Texas Institute of Letters. In 2009 he was inducted into the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame.

Holly Stephey and RPWL! BEYOND MAN AND TIME!

I have loved RPWL since I first heard the song Roses, and became friends with Yogi and the Band ,Please make sure to join me with a up close personal conversation.. RPWL is a German progressive rock band. Its name was taken from the first letters of the original 4 members: Chris Postl, Phil Paul Rissettio, Yogi Lang, and Karlheinz Wallner. With their debut CD “God Has Failed” in September 2000, RPWL was greeted on all sides with great enthusiasm. Praise and excellent reviews in all the important magazines. A hugely successful tour through half of Europe and appearances at many of the major festivals. Some info on the new LP Beyond Man and time.. Out March 9 in Europe and March 10 in the USA! Producing a new album is always exciting, especially because a lot of time has passed since THE RPWL EXPERIENCE. Many things have changed in our work: Although the lyrics have always been standing at the center, our first concept album will be different to other RPWL albums as we first went with the story and its chapters and afterwards composed the music. Furthermore, this record is going to be the first „proper“ RPWL-Studioalbum for Marc and it’s Werner’s very first time with us in the studio. So, we have an overall new situation to start with. But I can already now anticipate that the joint work was not only great fun, as we are also super-happy with the results At this point, I also want to present you the title of the album: BEYOND MAN AND TIME. It is indeed a real concept album with a continous story – different to WORLD THROUGH MY EYES or THE RPWL EXPERIENCE, that only had a common theme. But I don’t want to reveal more about the story at this point. I’m very much looking forward to the upcoming tour through Europe, which is going to start in mid-April and which will lead us through half Europe.
